The AEG 6000 SurroundCook DCE731110M is a 59.4cm built-in electric double oven that fits a full-height housing unit, giving a 61-litre main cavity and an independent 43-litre top cavity with its own controls. SurroundCook combines a precisely regulated element with a rear fan so heat reaches every shelf evenly, which is what makes it practical to load the main oven across several levels at once, while the top cavity handles smaller dishes and carries a dual circuit economy variable grill for browning without heating the whole oven. Between them the two cavities offer eighteen cooking functions, including defrost, reheat and keep-warm settings. Catalytic liners absorb grease and oxidise it during normal cooking, so routine cleaning is a wipe rather than a scrub, and both doors are double-glazed with removable panes for the occasional proper clean.
