The Predator GM7000 is the DRAM-cached tier of Acer’s SSD range, which separates it from the cheaper HMB-only drives: a dedicated DRAM buffer holds the mapping table, so sustained write performance and random access hold up better under load. It is an M.2 2280 drive on PCIe Gen4 x4, quoted at up to 7400 MB/s sequential read, in 2TB capacity. Read speed clears Sony’s PS5 requirement, so it works as console expansion storage as well as a desktop or laptop boot drive.
