The Ryzen 9 9950X is AMD’s sixteen-core Zen 5 desktop flagship for Socket AM5: 32 threads, 80MB of combined cache and a 5.7 GHz maximum boost within a 170W TDP. It is aimed at rendering, compilation and simulation workloads where core count matters more than the extra game cache of the X3D parts. DDR5 and PCIe 5.0 are supported, integrated Radeon graphics are present for display output, and no cooler is included.
