The Core i9-14900K is the top unlocked part of Intel’s 14th-generation Raptor Lake Refresh line: eight performance cores and sixteen efficient cores, 32 threads in total, 36MB of Intel Smart Cache and a maximum turbo of 6.0 GHz. The socket is LGA 1700, so it drops into existing 600- and 700-series boards after a BIOS update, with support for both DDR5 and DDR4 depending on the motherboard. Integrated Intel UHD graphics are present, which keeps display output available without a discrete card. The multiplier is unlocked for overclocking. No cooler is included in the box — a high-end air tower or a 360 mm AIO is expected at this power level.
