The ROG Strix Z890-F Gaming is ASUS’s mainstream enthusiast board for Intel’s LGA 1851 socket and Core Ultra 200S desktop processors. The power stage is a 16+1+2+2 DrMOS arrangement under large heatsinks, which is more than the stock parts need and leaves headroom for memory and fabric tuning. Five M.2 sockets, including PCIe 5.0 provision, cover an unusually large amount of storage for an ATX board, and all of them sit under heatsinks with tool-free Q-Latch retention. Memory is DDR5 across four slots with Intel XMP support. Networking is WiFi 7 with Bluetooth and 2.5 Gb Ethernet; rear I/O includes Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 Type-C.
