Biwin Black Opal NV7400 2TB SSD, M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 NVMe
Biwin Black Opal NV7400 2TB — M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 NVMe with Micron 232-layer TLC, up to 7450MB/s read and 2000TBW endurance.
The Black Opal NV7400 is Biwin’s mainstream Gen4 drive, and its specification is unusually strong for the price tier: Micron 232-layer G8 TLC flash, a Maxio MAP1602A controller, sequential reads to 7450MB/s and writes to 6500MB/s, and random performance around 1,000K read and 900K write IOPS. The design is DRAM-less and uses Host Memory Buffer plus an SLC cache instead, which is the usual trade at this price. What stands out is endurance: 2000TBW on the 2TB capacity with a five-year warranty, which is double what several better-known drives in this bracket offer. A graphene-infused thermal label handles heat spreading, and the standard M.2 2280 single-sided layout makes it PlayStation 5 compatible with a separate heatsink.
Covered by a 2-year warranty under EU consumer law.
