The ghd Unplugged is a cordless straightener with 22mm ceramic floating plates, delivering up to 20 minutes of continuous styling per charge from a two-hour USB-C top-up via plug, laptop or car. It heats up in 45 seconds to a fixed 185°C, with a battery-indicator LED and automatic sleep mode to preserve charge, and comes with a heat-resistant travel case. Finished in black, it’s aimed at travel and on-the-go styling rather than replacing a full-size mains styler at the vanity.
